About Us...
Jackie Dean has a lifetime love of flowers, plants and gardening, along with 25 years’ training experience: a perfect combination for working in the floristry industry and working with both children and adults in their learning about flowers.
At the beginning of 2015 Jackie left a corporate role as a Learning and Development Manager of a global organisation to pursue her love of working with flowers and plants. She has been continually enhancing her professional floristry skills by attending courses and conferences and in July 2015 she set up her business “Flowers of Fun” and began organising unique “Flower Birthday Parties” for children.
Jackie is on a mission to encourage children to get creative with and enjoy flowers and has developed a variety of activities and opportunity for children to get involved. She also set up a successful monthly Kids’ Flower Club in Tewkesbury, where children can continue to build their knowledge of flowers and plants and develop their skills in working with flowers – and at the same time have great fun!
On the 1st October 2016 Jackie's dream came true when she opened her florist shop "Bluebell Wood" in her home town of Tewkesbury. She waited patiently the perfect shop to become available, which it eventually did in Barton Street. It's a beautiful shop, full of beautiful flowers and gifts for all occasions. From her shop she aims to make every bouquet, arrangement and gift special and unique to the individual.
Jackie prides herself on the quality and range of flowers available in her shop. Offering bespoke designs for her customers, whether it be a bouquet for a special occasion, arrangements for functions or for Christmas. She creates beautiful flowers for Weddings, working closely with the bride to ensure they are perfect for their special day. She will ensure families have exactly the flowers they desire for a fitting tribute to their loved ones.
Jackie also runs flower workshops for adults and children at the shop, providing the opportunity to learn some tips about flowers and making the most of them and being able to create something wonderful to take home.
“I feel so lucky. I adore creating with flowers that make others happy. Being able to share my knowledge and love of flowers with others, especially the children, is both a privilege and pleasure!” Jackie Dean

"Jackie helped us to make beautiful Easter Flower Cupcakes. As we've been enjoying growing our own "beanstalks" and watching the flowers growing outdoors, Jackie helped to support our learning. The main thing was that we had fun and we're all very proud to have created such a beautiful flower treat to take home to our families for Easter. We certainly would recommend a visit from Jackie. Thank you." ... Tracey Ford
